Greenville’s Historic Woodside Mill Breaks Ground for the Development of Luxury Loft Apartments
GREENVILLE – October 4, 2019 – Atlanta-based private real estate investment and development firm Crossgate Partners announces the commencement of construction for the redevelopment and historic preservation of West Greenville’s Woodside Cotton Mill.
The interior space of the almost 500,000 square foot Mill is undergoing an adaptive reuse into 307 luxury apartment units, conference rooms, office spaces, a 24-hour fitness center, yoga room, club room, wine tasting room, and management offices. Ancillary buildings on site will be transformed into an event center and future commercial spaces including a brew pub. “It’s a very exciting project to restore and bring back to life a mill that is over 100 years old with so much historical significance,” says Randy Moore, managing partner of Crossgate Partners.
The property’s exterior site will host a state-of-the-art swimming pool and pool pavilion, as well as a dog park, bocce court, grilling stations, and children’s play area. “Our design,” says Moore, “allows us to preserve a great deal of the original Woodside Mill and create a place for many to enjoy for another 100 years.”
Crossgate Partners has teamed up with local architectural firm BetschAssociates, and local construction group Caldwell Constructors to bring this exciting project to life. The project is slated for competition in early 2021.
